12 amazing interior designs from Stoffer home

I think the number one question I get when it comes to our shop, The Found Cottage, is “Where do I stay when I come and what else is there to do?” That’s a good question and I decided to share a little more of what there is to do in the greater West Michigan area where we live. I will be dedicating an entire section on the blog to things to do in Michigan when you visit us as soon as possible. This past weekend I visited a store that recently opened about 15 minutes from our store in downtown Grand Rapids. It is called Stoffer Home and is owned by the amazing designer Jean Stoffer. You’ve probably seen her work on the internet…

I could go on, but you see… She’s amazing. The funny thing is, I actually didn’t know she was local until a while after following her and then seeing her list of Grand Rapids in a photo she posted once. I was in shock and had to see her work in person. The next funny thing is that right after I found out about this, she announced that she was opening a store… I’m one lucky girl. I finally made it to Stoffer Home this past weekend and took a few quick shots for you guys while I was there to give you a good feel for the place. Why you must visit? From books to kitchenware to cushions to vintage rugs and great lighting for sale, it’s all so inspiring how she puts it all together. Her shop also doubles as a design studio for her clients looking for her to design their homes and so you can see her work in action right in the shop. I was able to pick up a few things like a lovely lumbar pillow, some soap and a rather scrubby brush for our dishes. Visiting her shop was so inspiring and I could have sat there for hours with my coffee because her shop was cozy. Bonus: The workers at her store were also super helpful and nice….
